Chicago native, Lindsey Schaefer spreads her creativity though production design on films, commercials and music videos. I love the idea of everything being placed for a reason! You get the chance to tell the audience something about the character that may not be obvious otherwise! It’s a chance to make a character feel like a real person.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work on several short films, feature length films, commercials, and music videos. In recent endeavors, I have begun practicing the art of food styling, a beautiful and detail-orientated art form! It really tests your ability to think outside the box!
Another expansion includes my work in theater as a carpenter for the critically acclaimed Paramount Theatre in Aurora. There, I took on the task of building sets for Paramount’s Broadway Series presentations of "42nd Street" and "RENT". In addition, I built set pieces for Drury Lane Theatre in Oak Brook.
I enjoy everything I do! Not one thing is ever the same!
